When it comes to home interiors many people can be put off by the word ‘highstreet’. Believing that the home decor items on offer may lack quality, people often turn to higher end boutiques, in search of more ‘luxe’ items.

I’m however a big fan of highstreet home interiors – they’ve massively stepped up to the plate over the years and are putting designer interior brands to shame.

This months pick for highstreet home interiors that I’m loving comes courtesy of H&M.

Founded in Sweden in 1947, H&M opened its first UK store in 1976. More than forty years later, there are now over 260 stores across the UK and Ireland – meaning you don’t have to look far to find your local highstreet store.

They’re a favourite amongst bloggers thanks to their extremely ‘Instagramable’ and cute home accessories, and they’re always up to date with the latest trends, showing they’re a brand who are just as passionate about home decor as they are clothing. This season they’ve focused heavily on metallics, pastels and Scandi designs, a trend that’s still going strong.

Below I’ve picked out just a handful of items I’m currently loving from their home range, some of which I’ve recently purchased, and some that are still on my wish list.

Textured-weave cushion cover, £19.99; Cotton storage basket, £17.99; Metal candlestick, £17.99; Round leather strap mirror, £49.99; Metal salad servers, £9.99

Pink glass plant pot, £8.99; Spotty porcelain mug, £3.99; Striped cotton rug, £19.99; Large storage basket, £17.99; Suede photoframe £19.99

In my eyes H&M home interiors have purse friendly price tags and are always ahead of the latest trends, what’s not to love?
